Lovely walk this evening, less muddy and green but still very enjoyable. Lots of great chats and finally brought my daughter along this week!! Welcome to new members walking for the first time tonight. See you next week!!
Walk 20 – 21st May 2024
The light drizzle did not put off our wonderful walkers this evening and we enjoyed another lovely walk out across Kenilworth’s beautiful countryside. The ground was firm underfoot and the cow parsley was as gorgeous to smell as it was to see abundantly growing along the hedgerows. Lovely to welcome new members too.

Walk 19 – 14th May 2024
Thanks to the lovely ladies who came along tonight, and lovely to welcome our new members. We had another very enjoyable walk through the common and down the greenway, then back through the woods and on to the pub for a drink and some laughs!

Bank Holiday – 6th May 2024
Thanks to everyone who joined me for our Bank Holiday walk. It really was very lovely! Beautiful views, gorgeous trees, bluebells and of course, lovely company! The rain stayed away, we had perfect walking temperature and we walked almost 10,000 steps!

Walk 18 – 7th May 2024
So where to begin!
First a welcome 
to our many new walking ladies who joined us for the first time this evening. We hope you enjoyed the walk. And a special mention to the ladies who joined us from Coventry and came by bus! 
Tonight’s walk was yet another adventure for our walkers, navigating our way through the very muddy gateways, some climbing over, some under, but all managing to avoid the many cows who came to say hello. Well done everyone!

Walk 17 – 30th April
Yet another adventure was had this evening by our intrepid walkers, we had a detour or two but a really lovely walk was had. Lovely to meet new members, to see some beautiful blue bells and walk in very pleasant warm sunny weather!!!
Monday’s walk is on only if it’s not raining! Will post on Saturday to let you know.
Walk 16 – 23rd April 2024
Well, we did have enjoyable walk this evening, across a lovely field (Parliament Piece) only to find a fence and no gate on the other side (sorry!). But everyone seemed happy to scramble over it, and, we stopped to say hello to the lovely horses along the way!!

Walk 15 – 16th April 2024
We all really enjoyed a lovely off road walk this evening and we had quite an adventure! We ventured around the castle, across fields and football pitches and then finally back onto streets, all in the daylight! It was also great to welcome some lovely new ladies and then head to the pub for a well earned cold drink.

Walk 14 – 9th April 2024
Well what a lovely walk we had this evening. The sun came out and we nearly found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, but the rain stayed away thankfully. We meandered along the brook path then for the first time ventured across the common and onto the start of the Greenway and then finally back skirting the open fields. It was lovely to welcome some new walkers too, and then finish off in the pub for a cold drink and a few laughs.

Walk 13 – 2nd April 2024
After such a lovely day it was a shame that the rain started coming down hard just as we were setting out this evening! However well done to the hardy Kenilworth Walking Women who braved the rain. We didn’t let the rain dampen our spirits and we enjoyed our first daylight evening walk around the park then along Finham Brook.
