There were a few raindrops as we met in the carpark this evening but after that it remained dry and we had a lovely warm walk. There were plenty of conversations and laughter, with a number of ladies heading for a social drink afterwards. See you all next week.
The rain stayed away and we enjoyed a beautiful walk across the fields, admiring the stunning colours of the castle in the evening light.
After missing the walk for a couple of weeks it was lovely to be back amongst such a wonderful, kind and caring group of lovely ladies.

We were very lucky with the weather this evening. After torrential rain and thunder in the afternoon, the sky cleared and we had a lovely walk across the Common and along the Greenway. The sun came out at around 8pm and a happy group of ladies sat outside the pub to have a drink and a chat before heading home. If anyone wishes to join us on a Tuesday evening, you can be assured of a warm welcome.
It was an extremely hot and steamy walk this evening, but we all came prepared with water and summer clothing and had some lovely chats. The castle looked wonderful in the sunshine (until the time came to take the photo!l) and we met the swan family (with very protective parents!) on our way back. A very pleasant evening.
Well done to tonight’s walkers for braving the weather. We only got light drizzle so enjoyed the walk through the nature reserve and the Common.

Tonight’s walk was really lovely, along the quiet country road, spotted a dear running across the field, then along the now leafy greenway and into the woods. Not so many bluebells as we’d hoped but still some in the more clearer parts with fewer trees.
Lots of great chats, welcomed new ladies and lots at the pub afterwards to quench our thirst.

This evening we enjoyed a lovely return to the Greenway to enjoy the early bluebells and the evening birdsong. We welcomed new members along, enjoyed lots of chats, good company and lots of laughs, followed by some great catch ups and more laughs at the pub afterwards…
For anyone thinking of joining us, we walk every Tuesday evening, meeting at the Abbey Fields park car park ready for a 7pm start. We walk around 3 miles for around an hour. Why not give it a try!
Very enjoyable walk this evening, through woody footpaths, across fields and around the castle. Not as warm as recently but still a lovely clear sky, really great conversations, new members and new ideas for group outings in the summer.

We enjoyed a lovely walk last night over the fields at the back of Castle Farm before heading back with lovely views of Kenilworth Castle. It was beautifully and sunny however, as many will testify, the wind had a real bite! There were over 60 women walking last night, including a number of new members- welcome to you and we hope you had a lovely time . It was good to see so many people in the pub afterwards as well.
Just a little reminder. As you will know from the last couple of weeks, the ground is unseasonably dry and very hard. Therefore walking boots or sturdy shoes will be the safest footwear option.
