See you next week!

We were very lucky this evening and managed to dodge the rain showers, and really enjoyed the new route, taking us up and down, around and across Kenilworth. We welcomed new members and enjoyed a nice cold drink at the pub afterwards.
See you next Tuesday, 7pm Abbey Fields car park.

I believe we may have had a record number of walkers this evening, all enjoying a beautiful sunny evening walk together, around Kenilworth Castle and across the fields.
A big welcome to all of our new ladies who came along tonight, we hope you enjoyed the walk, and the lovely company.
Looking forward to Friday evening for our Pizza/Gin night at East Chase Distillers (see previous post for details).

Fabulous walk this evening across the lovely Warwickshire countryside and through the corn fields. The temperature had cooled to a pleasant level thankfully and we enjoyed a slightly slower pace so a lovely walk was enjoyed by all.
See you all next week!
Don’t forget to let me know if you are coming to the Gin/pizza evening at Chase Distillery Friday 11th July – see my earlier post.

Thanks everyone for a lovely walk this evening, through the woods and along the Greenway, catching up with old friends, meeting new ones, walking, chatting and being together.
A few announcements to share…
– Our Summer Picnic in the park is set for Saturday 2nd August, under the big tree in the park (more details to follow)
– Group evening out to Pizza night at East Chase Distillers on Chase Lane, Friday 11th July (more details to follow)
– I am delighted and very proud to have been chosen as a finalist in the BBC CWR’s Make a Difference 2025 Great Neighbour award for our lovely walking group. I’d like to thank all our lovely walking group members for making our group such a friendly, safe and wonderful group to be a part of. ![]()

What a beautiful evening we had for a really lovely evening walk. Over 50 of us walking together, in a friendly, safe group, lots of chats and laughs, catching up, meeting new people, getting our steps in, enjoying the countryside…what could better on a Tuesday evening…
See you all next week!

Thank you to our amazing group of ladies who joined our fabulous walk this evening, you all made my birthday walk very special, and thank you for all the birthday wishes throughout the day.
We had a beautiful, sunny, warm evening for our walk through the woods and across to Stoneleigh Abbey – we could just see it far away in the distance. We welcomed lots of new members and possibly had a record number of walkers.
Back to our usual meeting place at Abbey Fields next week.

Luckily it stayed dry for our evening walk which was really lovely, through narrow pathways, through the fields with some fab views of the castle. Lovely as always to welcome new walkers along, and great to catch up over a refreshing drink at the pub afterwards.
Remember!! Next week (Tues 10th June) we are meeting at The Tilt Yard car park on Leyes Lane for 7pm start, walking over to Stoneleigh Abbey.
See you there!

I was sad to miss tonight’s walk but big thanks to Kate for taking tonight’s photo. Luckily the rain stayed off and the walkers enjoyed a lovely walk around Kenilworth.
In 2 weeks, on Tuesday 10th June we will walk over to Stoneligh Abbey and meet at The Tilt Yard pub car park (Next to Tesco) on Leyes Lane, for 7pm start.
I’ll remind everyone at next weeks walk.
See you next week, abbey fields car park for 7pm start as usual.

It was another warm, humid evening for The Kenilworth Walking Women walk across the park, through the fields, around the castle and down Clinton Lane.
Lots of great chats from irises to air fryers!!
We discussed our summer picnic in the park and a walk over to Stoneleigh Abbey so keep a look out for more details on these, coming soon!
See you next Tuesday, Abbey Fields car park for 7pm start.
