Tonight was a lovely dry evening for evening walk. It was lovely to welcome new members and welcome back newer walkers who have recently joined. I hope you’ve all enjoyed the walks. This week we had some fab chats, made some new friends and enjoyed a drink in the pub afterwards!

Wow, what fab walk!! It was perfect walking weather and we had a fantastic number of ladies joining our walk this evening, lots of new members, so a massive welcome to you, I hope you enjoyed the walk. We also welcomed along PCSO Angie Gavin from Warwickshire Police who gave us some advice about personal safety, and handed out goodie bags with loads of great safety info plus personal alarms. Angie will be joining us again on 11th Feb and will bring more packs. We were also joined by Becca from BBC Coventry & Warwickshire who came along to chat to walkers about what being in the group means to them.

Tonight ‘s walk marked one year of walking together and it was really lovely to be out walking again, and to welcome so many new members! It was cold but we were all wrapped up warm and enjoyed the very clear starry night sky.
See you all next Tuesday at 7pm at Abbey Fields carpark. We’ll be joined by a member of Warwickshire Police, Angi Gavin, who will be walking and chatting to us about personal safety.
Festive Family Welly Walk
This afternoon we enjoyed a misty walk around Kenilworth and the surrounding countryside for our first family walk. It was great to welcome our family and friends along and also amazing to be joined by some of the Kenilworth Men Walking and Talking group!
It was a little muddy in parts but we all came prepared and really enjoyed the fresh air and conversations, and the nice warmth of the Clarendon Arms afterwards for a drink!

Tonight’s walk was a little different to normal as we made our way through the crowds to watch the fantastic Warwickshire Young Farmer’s tractor run! It was a fantastic sight to see!!
This was our last Tuesday night walk of 2024 and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of you lovely amazing ladies for joining me this year, on our weekly walks. I’ve loved every walk, and getting to know so many of you, and am really looking forward to walking with you all in 2025!

It was a bit chilly but we wrapped up warm and enjoyed our evening walk together tonight. We enjoyed seeing all the festive lights on people’s houses and looking forward to maybe seeing the festive tractors next week!!

Loved tonight’s walk, thank you ladies. It was crisp and clear, great company, great chats and then it was lovely to welcome Pauline from Compassionate Kenilworth who joined us to talk about the amazing ways her charity is supporting members of our community. We also had the opportunity to buy a Kenilworth Rotary Calendar, which is supported by lots of local businesses! So many reasons to love Kenilworth!!
It was a very chilly walk this evening but there was no sign of the earlier snow and we soon warmed up once we got walking and talking! Thanks to everyone for venturing out for yet another very enjoyable walk. See you all next week!
Tonight’s walk was a lovely crisp dry slightly colder evening but very enjoyable as usual. Another new route, lots of great chats, and a lovely cold drink at the pub afterwards!
Just a reminder, due to our Christmas party, there will be no walk on 3rd December, also no walks on 24th Dec and 31st Dec. However our walks will be taking place on all other Tuesdays all year round.

Amazing turn out for our Bonfire Night walk this evening. It’s was slightly damp but this definitely didn’t dampen our spirits! We welcomed some new walkers, saw a few fireworks, enjoyed some great chats and even walked a new route!! Thanks everyone!! See you next week.
